David P. Johnson

Biography

David P. Johnson is a Los Angeles and New York–based multi-disciplined artist. He is the creator (Book, Music & Lyrics) of Sally Spectre the Musical—boasting over 60+ performances and an exciting 2025 New York debut this October, and a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA. David has served as Chairperson of the Artistic Board at Theatre West in Los Angeles and has won two Valley Theare Awards, one for Best Director of a musical for young audiences and the other as one of the Producers of A Very Brady Musical.

As a professional guitarist, David performs as Joe Perry with the tribute band Sweet Emotionz, and he hosts On Six Strings, a new YouTube channel exploring guitar, tone, and creativity. He also brings deep post-production leadership experience (former Executive Director at Blu Digital).
